SIYUAN CHENG

As a contemporary fashion designer graduate from the Edinburgh College of Art, I developed my skills as a painter, pattern designer and textile innovator. After practicing in fashion design and engineering for four years and postgraduate further study for two years with internship experience in women's wear brands, I possessed a clear understanding of styling and design within the fashion industry with extensive training in technical drawing, sewing, pattern making and product development.

Through the MFA project, I have developed a gender neutral collection around memory and trace with a sustainable awareness and a consideration of ethical design methods, such as the application of bio-plastic. Have a look at all I’ve worked on, and let me know if you have any questions.
